For well over a year a very good friend of mine and I have been fully fledged members "Breakfast Club" This just means we meet early some mornings before we start work to thrash out life and work over breakfast. Each time we meet we try and find a new haunt, but more often than not end up back at an old favourite. This morning was an old favourite in the form of Towpath near Haggerston. It sits on the towpath of the canal, hence the name, and serves up a small simple menu which can be enjoyed in the morning sun while cyclists whizz by on their way to work.
A few more places on the Breakfast Club list are Fernandez & Wells at Somerset House, Food Lab on Essex Road, Albion Cafe on Boundary St, Luis Cafe on Roseberry Ave, Caravan on Exmouth Market, Haggerston Espresso Room in Haggerston.......... Plus a load more.
