MARGARET HOWELL AW11

Early on Sunday morning I had the pleasure of being back stage at Margaret Howells AW11 show, which once again was everything you would expect from MH........ Androgyny, knits, tweed jackets, trilby hats and a few suede brogues.
Here are a few images that I took during the lineup................

TIM ULEWICZ EXHIBITION

On Saturday afternoon I made a little wistle stop tour to Bristol to see my friend Tim Ulewicz's 'Never More Than a Metre Away' Solo Exhibition. A quick hello, a cider and the proud owner of one of Tim's prints and I was back to London. Although quick, it was a good show and I'm sure he is really proud of what he has achieved.

My print.........

GOING UNDERGROUND

I seem to have started to develop an obsession with London Undergrounds tiling designs, concrete, metal rails and wooden benches..... It seems like something I have just walked past for ages and not given much notice. Maybe it's because I'm renovating my flat and am looking for inspiration or I will suddenly become a train spotter to add to it. Either way, you can't deny that the Underground has a few great ideas........ More to follow!

BLOWN MAGAZINE

Here is a beauty story that I shot with Julie Jacobs for Blown Magazine. Julie's concept was to create an image in the negative, harping back to the days when film and negatives were a common, with younger generations probably not even ever seen a negative nowadays. The make up was all created in a negative, opposites of the colour wheel........Here are the results........

SUNDAY GIRL - INSTYLE

This is a beauty story that I recently shot for InStyle of the singer 'Sunday Girl'

GREENWICH

I was shooting in Greenwich yesterday for Jack Purcell. One of our locations was the Trafalgar......... Check out the painted fire place.

CINDERELLA vs ROMEO & JULIET

Just before Christmas I went to see Cinderella at the Royal Opera House and thoroughly enjoyed it!
This year I went to see Matthew Bourne's Cinderella at Sadlers Wells, with a friend of mine playing one of the lead parts. Bourne's take on a classic story was to set in war time London during a blitz..... Amazing sets and costumes!!
Within the week I was at the London Colisium to Romeo and Juliet which was a more traditional balet set within a stunning theatre.

MIST IN THE CITY

ANDREW EDMUNDS

Have been meaning to go to this place for ages and finally got around to doing it last night. Great food, lovely wine and a nice cosy table in from the cold outside. Our waitress was great and was certainly spot on with the choice of port to go with our dessert.
It's making me hungry just thinking about it.

BALLET
