THEKLA BRISTOL
Friday night I shot off down to Bristol to see my brother DJ at the Thekla, a great big boat that is moored in the docks of central Bristol.
The night was hosted by Play who often book DJs such as Deepgroove and James Zabiela.
TEA & CAKE
Teapots in Liberty on the fourth floor where at present there is a small exhibition of prints by Jacob Sutton, Alice Hawkins, Angelo Panneta and Josh Olins. All followed by Tea & Cake at Food Lab, Essex Road.
MINI MEXICAN FRIENDS
HERE ARE SOME MINITURE HAND MADE DOLLS THAT I PICKED UP IN MEXICO.
THEY ARE CALLED FETISHES, BUT MY SPANISH ISN'T SO GOOD SO I WILL HAVE TO GET BACK TO YOU ON A FULL TRANSLATION OF THE DESCRIPTION THAT CAME WITH THEM. ANY SPANISH SPEAKERS OUT THERE WHO CAN HELP, THEN PLEASE GET IN CONTACT.
EACH ONE MEASURES APPROXIMATELY 4CM HIGH.
JUST BACK FROM A HOLIDAY IN TULUM, MEXICO. AN AMAZING PLACE WITH BEAUTIFUL BEACHES AND INTERESTING PLACES TO EXPLORE. IT HAS CERTAINLY ENCOURAGED ME TO WANT TO LEARN MORE SPANISH, AND READ UP ON THE HISTORY OF THE MAYAN PEOPLE.

THE CONVENIENCE STORE & BOCCA DI LUPA
Had the pleasure of meeting Andrew who is "The Shopkeeper" at The Convenience Store off Goldbourne Road on Saturday. An amazing space with some amazing clothes, such as Hannah Marshal and Gareth Pugh to name a couple....... what a great place to spend an hour of your weekend browsing and having a chat.

The evening was then spent with someone very special at Bocca Di Lupa in Soho. Reginal Italian menu with a lovely raw Sea Bream, Scallop and Langoustine with Rosmary oil and the Burnt Almond Granita with bitter Chocolate sorbet was pretty yum too.

LINO PRINT
Here is my first lino print since my early college days. It measures A4 and is printed on A3 Heavyweight Art Paper.
